Bonus craze or “bonus wars” as you say is getting scary now fo me.
Smells like information inflation.
What is the product and what is the bonus in future? Is the product only good to spread viral bonuses? Are bonuses the products and forget about the teasing product? This 12 month blabla, next week clone coming anyway stuff is not so interesting, but the bonuses, HA!
Affiliate commissions stolen anyway, links cloaked or not, if no super bonuses added, or others have better bonuses.
To sell a $7.77 ebook in the future, do you have to offer 2 Ferraries, 100 private online consultation hours and a night with your wife, only to outperform your affiliate competition? Where are we going here?
My next affiliate promotion will be to pay back 200% of my commission to my customer for buying whatever, if he gives me some bonusses, I will never use or need, have about 2GB on my HD of that stuff, but I have 160GB!
Sorry for being realistic, top-marketers call it negativity, because only positive thinking victims can be ripped off.

Semmy and Dan- thanks for the feedback. Don’t worry, I knew going in that I’d get flack for it. But whether it is bad marketing in my opinion depends largely on the results, and so far a lot of people have decided to take me up on this offer. I think/hope that most of my readers know that I have a lot more to offer than occasional hype like today. Semmy I am sorry I offended you, but I stand by my bonuses, because they’re a great value when you consider the product I’m promoting is only $37. From the bottom of my heart I do hate bonus wars, but sometimes the old saying is true… if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.
