  My pastor has just returned from India this past Friday(2/27/09). He was able to preach at several events (15 times in 6 days) at the invite of an Indian Pastor by the name of Augustine. Pastor Augustine has planted several churches in his native India and has seen much fruit. My Pastor was able to donate money into the hands of an Indian Pastor who had part of his orphanage burned down through persecution. It was a powerful time and I hope to join my Pastor on his next trip there. My Pastor’s name is Vaughan Jarrold and if you get the chance, go to You-Tube and type in Kingston Fire in the search. God’s been moving.

  I am sad because I am seeing India’s original religion of Hinduism being destroyed by unrestricted Christian missionary work.

  Can’t we all live in peace and respectful of the diversity of religions.

  Must all religions be absorbed into two monolithic religions of Christianity and Islam.

  My best friend is from India. I spent the month of January managing the Red Carpet Inn for them while they went to India for a wedding. I’m from TN and they are in the Harrisburg, PA area. Murphy’s law was in effect (sub-zero weather), but they said I did everything right. I love my India friends. I don’t speak Hindi and my BEST friend (the grandmother) speaks very little English. I watch Indian TV, ate Indian food twice a day, and enjoyed every minute of it. She would say, “Mama no English, Mary no Hindi. We talk.” She would laugh when I said as I put my hand on my heart and said, “We speak from the soul, Mama!”

  I was really touched by your photo project for the children - it brought tears to my eyes. It seems like such a simple thing but really has a tremendous impact! My husband came from a poor family in India and he, therefore, does NOT have a single picture from when he was small! Fast forward to now where we live nicely here in the US and my young daughter is always asking him for his childhood pictures but the earliest picture he has is from his college days when he finally had some money for a camera. He just jokes and says he looked like our daughter but with short hair. Even my dad who came from an extremely poor family in India did not have any pictures till he was in medical school there. So, the work you did was really wonderful and will create so many heartfelt memories for the children whose pictures you took and for their future families. I appreciate your caring about the poor children in India and going there to actually do something worthwhile about it!

    If any of your sites have any questionable content or activities on them (gambling, public image hosting, sending mass email, etc), then you should isolate that site on it’s own IP, so your other sites don’t get penalized if someone blacklist’s the IP.

    The main reason that some marketers use seperate IP’s is for SEO purposes. With unique IP’s on seperate C-classes, you can use inter-linking strategies between your sites.

    If all your sites are on 1 IP, then you shouldn’t do excessive interlinking between them, or the search engines may think it’s a link farm, or that you’re doing something to game the system.

    Regarding your FTP question.. there are ways to transfer server-to-server (ie. SSH), but it’s good to have a backup of all your pages on your computer anyway. So I’d download via FTP all the pages onto your PC, then upload them via FTP to the new site.

    Jeral, this is a tough call to make without really knowing someone. Your age is no problem, I’ve seen people much older than you succeed online. But if you’ve watched all the lessons from #1 and still do not know where to start, it might not be a good fit for you.

    On the other hand, maybe you are someone who needs to get the overview by watching all the lessons first, then go back and re-watch them while implementing all the action steps.

    If you feel that internet business is for you, then stay with it, be patient, and don’t give up.

    If you feel that it’s not for you, then it probably isn’t.
