Meet Me at The Internet Marketing Main Event

Edition #79

I’ll be attending The Internet Marketing Main Event II in Baltimore this September, and I’d like for some of my readers to join me.

I’m not one of those guys who goes to all the seminars… in fact, I’ll probably never go to more than 2 per year. There’s no need to become a “seminar junkie” and spend all your time hanging out at seminars when you could be APPLYING the knowledge gained from those seminars to build your business.

On the other hand, you SHOULD go to one or two seminars each year for as long as you’re in this business. It’s probably the best way to network with other marketers, and build relationships that will result in successful ventures.

This applies regardless of whether you’re new to the business, or whether you’re already a successful business owner. If you’re new, you’ll gain helpful and inspiring information from the speakers, AND the relationships you build will be a catalyst for your business. I’ve talked about this before… if you have little or nothing to invest into your business then you NEED to leverage the power of joint ventures to grow it quickly.

And if you’re going to go to a seminar, then you should pick a good one! That’s why I’m encouraging you to join me at the The Internet Marketing Main Event.

The event is on September 15, 16, & 17 in Baltimore, Maryland. The speakers include a star-studded lineup of over a dozen big time guru’s, not to mention there will be literally dozens of other successful marketers in attendance (such as myself ;) ).

It’s on a weekend, so you could feasibly only miss one day of work (if you still have a job). Flights to Baltimore seem pretty reasonable (I just picked up my plane ticket for a little over $200), and they’ve got a good group-rate for the rooms.

In other words, this is a great time to go!

Some of the guru’s at the seminar regularly charge $2000-5000 for their own seminars, but this one is WAY cheaper than that. It’s one of the best values for a seminar that I’ve seen.

There are currently only 30 seats left, so this opportunity will be gone very quickly.

If you register now through my link, I’m including the following bonuses…

1) Dinner with Me at a Real Maryland Crab House

Crab House

I figure we’re going to be in Baltimore, so let’s get out of the hotel for a night and experience the local culture. I’ll be getting the hard-shell crabs (my favorite), so you can get the same or you could get the famous crab cakes, or ANYTHING on the menu (there’s stuff for non-seafood people too). I’ll pay for dinner, drinks, and everything including transportation to dinner and back.

This will ensure that we get a chance to talk, and you can ask me ANY business-related questions that you have on your mind. We’ll be out having a good time, but you might want to bring a notebook to jot down some notes along the way too ;-)

I might bring along a couple of my marketing guru friends, but either way, it will be a pretty small group so we’ll definitely get to talk.

2) Ticket to the exclusive after-hours VIP party.

My mastermind group (the Stealth Marketing Alliance) is hosting an exclusive VIP party at TIMME2, and there will be a lot of big names there (probably most of the speakers). You can come and hang out with me, along with the other members of the Stealth Marketing Alliance including Jeff Dedrick, Keith Wellman, Tom Beal, and maybe Liz Tomey (if she can break away from the kids for a couple days).

This will be a great place to meet other marketers and develop relationships that could be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars to your business.

A ticket is required to attend this closed-doors event. Free drinks are included.

To qualify for these bonuses, you need to use this link (if you’ve clicked on other marketers links to view TIMME2, you will need to clear your cookies first):

Click Here To Register For The Internet Marketing Main Event II…

After registering, please paste a copy of your receipt in a helpdesk ticket at my helpdesk. In the subject line of the ticket put ‘TIMME2 Dinner Bonus’.

NOTE: If you’re already registered for TMME2 through someone else’s link, you can come to dinner with us (as long as you’re an Eric’s Tips reader), but you’ll have to pay for yourself. However, I need to get a headcount ASAP to make the reservation so post a ticket at my helpdesk letting me know if you’re already registered and want to come to dinner.

I hope to see you there!

As always, you may leave your comments here in the blog.

Have a great day!

          Hi Eric,

I don’t even have a web site yet. I’m just lost in all this, which is why I signed up for your tips - so I could learn. And, you have helped me a lot. But I’m slow getting started due to lack of funds.

Thanks so much for the invite to the seminar (and dinner!), but I will not be able to attend. Why don’t they hold one in Reno, Nevada? It would be a lot more fun and you could probably still get crab here (that sounds AWFUL!) :-)

Anyway, keep up your good work. I really appreciate it. By the way, I didn’t respond to the how do you handle the blues message because I was having the blues. And at that time, I had no answers for anyone, not even myself. Just know that it happens to us all and all we can is ride it through. The only thing in this world we have any real control over is ourselves and how we react to the things that happen to us. So, sometimes you’ve gotta be blue ’cause that’s how you feel. It passes.

          Much luck, Eric.

          Mary

Thanks for the invite, but I will not be able to make it. I am up to my ears in reading the infor on how to start and cash is not flowing at this moment. I know you will share some of those great insights with the rest of us newbies. Have a great time!

                  Hi Eric,

As you are probably aware, I am already going to TIMME. I will not have a car with me and will find it hard getting around. I would like to go to your dinner, (yes, I’ll pay for myself), and see some of Baltimore while I’m there.

I am not invited to that after-hours party. Can you get me a ticket?

                  Regards,

                  Helene

                    Hi Eric,
I’m sorry to have to add my name to the above list of non-attendees. It’s a bit too far from Australia for me at this time. The invitation to meet and learn from you (while enjoying a crab-fest ) is a superb offer for those who can attend. We’ll have to put one on in Adelaide…we have some great tucker here too.
                    Kind regards
                    Veronica

                        Eric,

Good Luck with the seminar. I attend seminars on a regular basis. Baltimore Inner Harbor is a great setting. The facilities there are fantastic! There is a mall there with all kinds of shops and things to do. When I attended seminars down there I generally went to the mall and found a great assortment of foods to eat. I have not been to the Crab House. I love it down there, it is about 3 hours from where I live in PA. Hope you will be able to take some time to enjoy the area.

I’ve been reading your tips and enjoying them.

                        Lord Bless,

                        Fran The Man

Yes, I have no real interest in the seminar, but I was wondering what night you would be dining at the Crab House. I have not eaten good crab in quite some time, and my very innermost being yearns for the succulant meat, drenched in melted butter sauce. So, as I previously stated, i will not be attending the seminar, and have no intention of flying out to Baltimore to enjoy the crab with you. However, I would like to know the night of your dining so that I may go indulge at a local seafood restaraunt on the same night, and maybe, just maybe imagine I am eating crab with the great Eric Holmlund. Thank you for your time.

I will work out the hotel arrangements later. Looking forward to meeting you. Saundra’s tip - Ask and receive - Believe and it happens. God is good.

This is my 2nd posting here. I’m thinking about taking the trip down there. Just for the day, maybe meet for lunch or the crab house dinner. It is only a three hour ride to Baltimore. If there is a chance to get together send me a private e-mail, and I will send you my cell phone #. I am looking to diversify my income and I’m looking to work with other Christians. I found that there is no substitute for meeting face to face.
