Squidoo Secrets

Special Edition

This is just a quick entry to let you know about a cool new tactic that is working very well.

As you may know, I do a lot of work with Joel Comm.

Joel has been participating in an experiment involving a “Web 2.0″ site called Squidoo, using a new system that was developed by a guy named Bob Jenkins (aka Bob the Teacher). I’m not going to take the time to explain exactly how Squidoo works, but it is a site that allows you to set up your own page, called a “lens”.

There are over 85,000 Squidoo lenses. Up until about a week ago, Joel didn’t even have a Squidoo lens.

Yesterday at the seminar in New York, Bob came up to me with a huge grin and was like, “Guess what Joel’s lens is ranked?”

#3 on all of Squidoo!

He went from not even having a presence on Squidoo, to having the #3 lens, and he’s getting a lot of traffic from it.

I just got off the phone with Joel, and he was like, “You’ve got to let your readers know about this system… it obviously works, and I really am getting traffic from it!”

I’m not yet sure if I’m going to jump into the Squidoo game (I just don’t have time to try everything), but I figured I better at least take a moment to let you know about it. If you want to check out this strategy, you can get started for free at:

As always you can post your comments here in the blog.

Have a great day!

I just started a lens at squidoo for my new website. I will test that because it seems very promising.

How Joel can be at this position so fast?

      Hey Eric,
It was great to meet you in person in NYC. Joel’s lens eventually went to #2!
It’s slid a little bit, but more he’s getting more traffic from it now.

For example, a search on Google for “joel comm” brings up his Squidoo
lens as the 13th result out of over 1 million. You know how much Joel is
online, so I’m sure you recognize how great this is for a free service.

Hope you catch the bug soon — I know you and your readers will really
benefit from Squidoo and the secrets revealed at SquidooSecrets.
