Happy Thanksgiving 2025!

Happy Thanksgiving!

This is the 18th consecutive year of doing this thankfulness exercise and contest! I don’t use this blog much anymore, but as long as I’m still drawing breath and God gives me the strength, this is a tradition I want to keep alive.

While about half of Eric’s Tips readers live outside the USA, I say it every year… gratitude transcends all borders.

Keeping up with this tradition gives me a chance to pause and truly appreciate all of YOU — my subscribers, my customers, and the many friends I’ve made along the way. You’re the reason I’ve been able to run this business for so long.

So first… thank you.
Whether this is your first time participating in our annual Thanksgiving contest or your 18th, your presence here means a lot to me.

A Few Things I’m Thankful For This Year…

Family.
This summer our oldest daughter got married in a beautiful outdoor amphitheater nestled among the redwoods of California. It was one of those storybook settings — towering trees, a glowing bride, and a ceremony full of joy.

The celebration didn’t end there. We hosted a reception back home in Colorado, followed by another reception hosted by her new in-laws in Washington State. So now we officially have two married kids, but our home still feels full and alive with the other five kids still at home.

As many of you will remember, we finalized the adoption of our 7th child in 2024. That journey continues to shape us, stretch us, and bless us. My wife and I are incredibly thankful for the personal growth it has sparked in this season of our lives.

Fishing and the outdoors.
It was an unforgettable fishing year. I set new personal bests for several species — including brown trout, cutbow trout, walleye, lingcod, and snook — just to name a few.

I caught over 20 fish that would qualify for the Colorado “master angler” program, and while it’s not about the awards, it’s a fun benchmark and a reminder of how much time I’ve been blessed to spend outdoors.

Here are a few pictures…

Business.
I’m thankful for the opportunity to keep growing professionally. This year I continued to push myself to learn, implement, and leverage AI technology.

I’m also very thankful for a few amazing partners who joined me in launching several best-selling AI tools in our industry this year. It’s been both fun and inspiring to keep innovating even after two decades in this business.

Life — and hope.
Like I shared in last year’s video, I know life is really hard. And the holidays can magnify everything — the joys, the losses, the struggles. 2025 brought its own set of challenges for me too. Plenty of low moments. Plenty of moments where life felt heavy.

But I’m thankful for life itself, and for the opportunity to keep pushing forward.

If you’re going through difficult times…
don’t lose hope.
Life is worth living, even when it gets really tough.

Now It’s YOUR Turn — The 18th Annual Eric’s Tips Thanksgiving Contest!

For 18 years, we’ve done this thankfulness exercise together.
And once again…

All you have to do is post a comment below sharing something you’re thankful for.
A word, a sentence, a poem, a video, a picture — anything that reflects genuine gratitude.

If you need inspiration, go back and read the Thanksgiving comments from the past 17 years.

In a few days, I will randomly choose 10 winners, and I’ll send $20 via PayPal to each of those 10 people. As usual, I’ll announce the winners on this post.

NOTE: Your comment won’t appear immediately — I’ll approve them periodically.

Thank you for being part of this tradition.
Thank you for being part of my journey.
And thank you for the privilege of being able to send this message every year.

Have a great day and a Happy Thanksgiving!

UPDATE: Here are the 10 winners chosen at random using AI:

NOTE: a couple of the Paypal payments were bounced due to invalid email addresses. If that was you, please comment with your correct Paypal email. (I’ll delete that comment, it will never appear publicly)

Hi from Java Eric, Indonesia ?
This year I’m thankful for the simple things: my family, our health, and the chance to keep working on an honest online business step by step.

2025 hasn’t been easy, but God’s been kind — I’m still here, still learning, still hopeful.

Thank you for the gifts and for keeping this tradition going all these years. Wishing you and your family lots of peace and joy in the year ahead.

I am thankful to Eric that there are some still honest products vendor like, I follow him since 2004, when he and other two similar goog and honest guys used promote products together.
If such honest people make money and become rich I always pray for them to God, because they are making money through really helping other people.
Any I want to do request to Eric here since I buy always Eric”s products upto the reseller upgrade and I know here he will read my post or comment personally, which is please Eric in the reseller upgrade try to give that reseller authority through a reseller dashboard in products dashboard after login where who will buy the reseller upgrade, they can issue the login access to their buyers themselves without going through the affiliate link, because I want sell that product to the people in a part of the world, who doesn’t have access to PayPal or they can’t pay by dollars, they can pay mainly through that country money to me as I am from that country, Bangladesh. Before you used to create dashboard in that way, now you are doing through the affiliate link way.
Recently I bought your a very good product which is AI Spokesperson video, which I very much wanted and want that way,
If you please can provide me that way and also for you future products, I will very grateful to you and appreciate it very much.
And you can put two options in case you need to do that
    1) through affiliate link way and other
    2) through reseller panel in the dashboard, where I can give access to the products on my own, without having them to go through affiliate link
And of course that products access should be in two labels,
that is FE and pro upgrade, which label I am giving to my customers, I will have that choice or options.
Thank you in advance for reading my comments this far
Wish you the best for you and all your family members.

    Thank you

I have had a very difficult year healthwise and I am truly grateful to all the wonderful friends I have. They have been there with me on the journey and without them I would have really struggled to deal with these things. Nothing is ever to much trouble for them, and I am comforted when I know that when I need help, they are ready, willing and able to assist me with chores, getting to and from doctor’s appointments when I can’t drive myself, and just being there when I need to talk. They have made it so much easier for me and my recovery. I still have so much to do with my life, and I love all my friends dearly.

I’m thankful for my wife and family. I’m also thankful for being part of your community. I’m Swedish, living in Sweden. Thank you for your beautiful description of your daughter’s marriage and the picture of your wonderful family! I have strong ties to the U.S., having relatives in California who left Sweden in the late 19th century. Many thanks to you, Eric!

    Hi Eric,
My sister has had a rough couple of years of bad health. After three back surgeries she is pain free now. I am grateful for that. Grateful that I had the time I could be with her as she was recovering from the last surgery.

I am blessed that Scott and I still have good health even though Covid took his sense of taste. He still has his sense of humor. 🙂

I am grateful for all the friends I have been able to stay in touch with over the years. Folks from my days at HP back in the 70’s; friends with whom we have weekly supper dates. For my friends from Colorado Women of Influence who are always willing to step up if any of us needs help. For the CSU students in my Chinese class who have become friends bridging an age gap of 50 years. For my Chinese professor who gives me a lot of grace when grading my homework. 🙂

I am thankful for so many things. But Eric, I am going to make a request. Two summers ago I had the wonderful fortune to babysit my brother’s two delightful little granddaughters who are now four and six years old. At that time they had been removed from their family home due to a bad living situation. They have been returned to their home but the mother has cut off all contact with the family. I worry about them constantly. Eric, please join me in asking God to watch over them, to keep them safe physically, mentally, and emotionally. Their initials are N and E. Thank you.

May God continue to bless you and your family. Next time you see Melissa’s dad please tell him I said hi.

I’m thankful our daughter was not injured or killed when her car went off of the road, into a ditch, and crashed through a fence. She was driving home from U.W.M. to spend Thanksgiving with our family and was caught in the huge blizzard that hit us in Northern WI. Vehicles can be replaced but precious lives cannot.

Eric, I’ve been online since 1999, too. I’ve followed Eric’s Tips for many years and have bought a number of your products. I appreciate your Christian ethics, and I always know I can trust you to release or promote only valid products. Amazingly, I’ve never been aware of your 18-year Thanksgiving tradition until this year! I am thankful for SO many things, but at the moment I am extremely grateful for how God is working to bring restoration and reconciliation in my family even in the past two days, and I know it’s just the beginning!

You know what I’m most grateful for this year? It’s being able to save my wife’s life, help my daughter slowly regain her sense of smell and taste, and to start to build a whole new way of showing up in a world I used to dominate in such a different way.

Now I get to focus on making everyone else shine, sparkle, and power future generations through legacy work, and that’s going to be an area of pride and gratitude for the rest of my life.
