Most affiliate programs pay via PayPal. Nigerians are not allowed to have accounts with PayPal because Nigeria has been blacklisted. So the best solution for now is to join only Affiliate Programs that issue Checks or make payments via E-gold, AlertPay or any other payment options assessable to Nigerians.

Hi Francois- unfortunately I think making a PDF for each lesson would slow me down too much. But I will post the main points and action steps below each video. Also I will likely release the entire series on DVD when it is complete. I hate to make you wait 4-5 months for that, but it seems like it may be an option.

Just one question: How do I create a Gmail FOLDER.
I thought I created one on the lower left hand column where it reads EDIT LABEL section. I created a NAME and MOVE the email into it, But after that I deleted the INBOX mails and then the EDIT LABEL folder emails are GONE???
Please advice, I couldn’t locate any other folder section in GMAIL Account.

I am a 75 year old pensioner, but despite having paid for 4 training courses and completing them, as far as I could I cannot get past first base. I have 4 websites, including a resale hosting site and two fully stocked eBook stores and no traffc, getting traffic seems to be very difficult.

Have you ever tried articles submissions to the websites that support your niche? I’ve found that article submission is a great way to get free traffic and also get links to your site. Another good way is pay per click but be careful…if your not sure what your doing it could be very expensive!
I’m going to take a liberty here, and elaborate a little further on what Gary said.
Being that you’re a pensioner Leslie, I’m sure that you have a very limited amount of disposable income, like me. So Pay-Per-Click might not be your best option now. I’m using a concept called “bum marketing”, which is simply using all of the free marketing tools that are available. Free advertising, and social networking, posting blogs, and article submission, directory submission.
Social networking sites like twitter, facebook, myspace, squiddo (which google really seems to like), and Sales Spider are good places to start. There are plenty of how to articles available that will teach you how to use these resources effectively.
If you can build a small income stream from free classified sites, you may be able to take some of that income and use it to reinvest in your busines to pay for some Pay-Per-Click ads.
Outbound and inbound linking to your site will also help with your search engine rankings, and I don’t think a lot of marketers take enough time to do serious analysis, and selection for keywords for their sites. And then of course there are Eric’s lessons which if properly applied, may produce some dramatic results.

120 lessons - is that 120 days? weeks? hours?
I am estimating 5 months. If I released a lesson every day, it would take 4 months. But I know there will be some gaps, so that’s why I’m estimating 5 months.

I was told by a few computer pros that it is safer in the long run to delete unwanted emails rather than unsubscribe. When you unsubscribe you are confirming that your email is live and reachable. I delete some and send others to my spam folder (Yahoo). Yahoo learns who you consider spam and quits loading them to the Inbox. I skim my spam box almost every day just to look for things sent there by mistake and delete them and my trash box.

I’ve been anticipating the start of your series since your announcement of your FreeLine.
I have also read Chris Anderson’s article that you mentioned earlier. Chris mentioned something that I have not been paying attention for some time - reputation economy.
A relative starter in this iMktg area (compare to most folks), I get overwhelmed with massive informations out there. That’s what internet is about anyway, information. I believe, the key is having an objective so that the information you need and get, will be used to attain that objective or goal.
A lot of times, we’re caught with gurus ‘teaching’ or ’selling’ information instead of trying to figure out what we want to achieve first. Then most people end up drifting in the sea of information which in itself could be useful but is not necessary to achieve their objective. I’m one of those ‘drifters’ too, but has found something to hold on now.
I’m looking forward to your series as I am also at a point of figuring my freeline that I can offer. Just need to solidify my business model.
You have put this very well…these are the same feelings most of us have felt one time or another. At least it helps us seperate what works and doesn’t work…sounds like your on the right path…Good Luck!
YES! That’s one of my pet peeves. is that these so called ‘marketing gurus’ have an agenda that is relentless, with their endless barrage of auto-responder emails. They don’t bother to take the time to listen to the people they’re trying to recruit, and that’s a big mistake on their part.
After groping my way around internet marketing for a long time, I came across Eric through the Instant Adsense Templates. This was the first time/product that I was shown how to do something which I needed to do to make money, and I have been very greatful to Eric since then. I feel I have a long way to go still, but I appreciate that Eric continues to help all of us, because he surely does not have to. Thank you Eric!

From my own observance, I’m seeing the global emergence of a social networking phenomenon the likes of which the world has never seen before.
There is more benefit when people work together to help each other, than there is when they compete. The elite truly see us as nothing more than ‘exploitable resources’, with only the people at the top benefitting at the expense of those at the bottom.
This is a predatory system that has worn itself out, and it’s time to abandon that system in favor of one that benefits all, through a spirit of cooperation. You cannot change the world except through changing yourself.
Too many people look for a leader, when they should take the initiative, and become a leader. I come not looking for a leader, but partners.
David, I quite enjoyed your article. One can feel it was written with great passion coming clearly from your heart. I use both GMail and Yahoo but I’ve never been able to figure out why I can’t use Outlook and/or Outlook Express. Every time I come to a site which has an email link that uses Outlook I try to send the email but it never goes anywhere. I’ve attempted to delete the program and download again from Microsoft’s site but as you spoke about in your first lesson there must be some kind of disconnect of information where I’ve missed a step.I hope maybe you cover this or maybe one of your readers has solved this problem and can help.

Yes Ray, bothe Outlook Express amd Oulook have to be configured to receive and send email in connection with yahoo and gmail. Although both provide tutorials to configure, here’s a little trick, if you don’t want to bother with that.
Simply click on the email, when your Outlook, or Outlook Express launches, the email address will appear in the send to box. Simply copy/paste the email address, and enter it into your favorite email client, and then close the program.

Hello Betty, I don’t know for sure if this will work, but you can download a copy of Real Player version 11.0 or later. This version has a built-in video downloader. Make sure you do a custom download to be sure you get the download manager. After you’ve installed it, the way it works is you mouse over the video screen of the video you want to download, and a little pop-up window will appear. Just click on that little pop-up window to start your download.
This will work on embedded videos as well,as long as they’re not protected by DRM technology. (For instance some google videos don’t show a download button, which means they’re embedded)
One last thing. Real Player has a tendency to insinuate itself on your system in ways that you may not like. To prevent this you can download a FREE version of WinPatrol. It’s a handy little security utility program that keeps unauthorized things from running on your machine.
Great first lesson Eric! I am really looking forward to learning lots from you. I, too, suffer from information overload but I try to keep everything organized with folders in my e-mail and on my computer. I also keep separate notes in MS Office and in a separate notebook with links and sites I find useful, etc.

Good first impression. And an important question right off the mark: Are you planning to make an MP3 or a transcript version of your lessons available?
I’d already kept previous emails from you, and I’m planning to retain those that follow as well, but I’d also like to be able to retain the lessons themselves. Personally I’m partial to ‘text’ materiel, but I’ve also got a pretty solid selection of stuff on MP3 to listen to while walking or snow shovelling (!).

Hi Noel- probably not MP3, because after the introductory lessons, most of them are going to be more like “show and tell” where I actually demonstrate how to do stuff on screen, which wouldn’t work as well as an audio recording. However, for my videos which are FLV (some are SWF and the long ones will be FLV), there is currently a tool which will allow you to rip an MP3 of the audio directly from my video. I’m not going to get into the details of how to do it, and I hesitate to mention it because I don’t want people ripping off my content, but for my subscribers who want to grab a copy of a lesson for their personal use only, you can experiment with this web based tool:

Hi Kulkarni,
I highly reccomend that you get a pair of speakers as it’s vital to the learning process. You should be able to pick up a pair on sale as low as $15 or $20 at places like Frys Electronics, PC Mall or Best Buy. They won’t be of the best sound quality but they would do the job for now!
Most computers have a place to plug in a headset which might even cost less than speakers. A headset takes up less room on the desk as well.

I just watched your fist video and it was nice to hear that you’re from Fort Collins. I was in Breck for a couple of months last winter (snowboarder) and loved it…and in April I moved to Denver! Though I hear the summers get seriously hot out here, I love the mountains and I’m looking forward to all the area has to offer.

I have a rule of thumb that I apply in cases where someone is recruiting me to do affiliate marketing for them.
They have to be willing to supply a website, tools, training, and support FREE of charge. After all I’m providing my time and labor, and I’m not getting paid for that unless I succeed
They should be satisfied with the money they’ll make from your time and effort, on the products and services you sell.
There are some exceptions to that, but they are far and few between.
With that, I’m going to leave before I wear out my welcome

Totally confused. Let take for example before that. The idea of Adwords and the Adsense. Both are Google. One is -ve Clicks and the other is +ve Click.
If we follow the right track the -ve will turn to +ve and the +ve will might change to -ve.

One question - How do you cater for those people in countries who do not have fast internet access, people who still have slow internet access? What I am saying is that with your use of camtasia, would that make viewing your lesson on a slow internet access a problem?
Hi Roland- it is possible that it could be a problem for people with slow internet connections, but unfortunately I can’t cater 100% to everyone. But I will also provide the written main points, and also I will try to keep the video file sizes minimal so they load more quickly.
It is so refreshing to see someone produce videos with a heart to really help others. There is nothing wrong with people offering videos with the expectation of buying their product. But for you to be committed to mentoring so many on your list with 120 lessons without pitching a product after each one says a lot about your giving spirit. The essence of a Christian who is walking close to the Lord is to be a giver and a servant of all. Thank you for being a mentor and being an example to all of us to take what we learn and pass it on to others that we can help.

By the way, Kulkarni, you can pick up speakers for a very reasonable price. I don’t know where you are, but in the US you can get speakers for $14-$20. It’s a good investment in your business and yourself since I suspect Eric will be using a lot of video screens that you will want the audio for.
I am developing my first website from the mix of info I have learned on the Internet over the last 6mos. You are so “ON” with your comment of being overwhelmed when you are a newbie (such as I). I would like to view your lessons at a quicker pace than every other day. Can I get them somehow so I may view them at my own pace? I will recommemd this site to everyone I know that wants to become an Internet Marketer.
PS. Thank you for creating these lessons. Had you not done this, I was going to create a simmilar series after learning what to do so the next Internet Marketer would not have to go through this learning curve.
Hi Paul- at the moment I haven’t created the rest of the lessons yet. It actually takes quite a bit of time to record the video, convert it, upload it, etc. So I doubt I will be able to do more than one per day. I anticipate releasing 5-6 new videos per week.

I have been getting emails from you for some time, but I am very excited about your lessons.
For some time I have been “investing” in all kinds of CD’s, DVD’s, e-books and the list goes on. My husband says I have sucker written on my forhead; we’ll see if he still believes that in the near future. This is an excellent idea in helping noobies to get their feet wet in IM. How often are you going to post each lesson? I know it would be an enormous task, but one lesson a day would be fantastic. That would take everyone to a greater level in about four months! Keep up the great work!

You really hit the nail on the head when you said people get bogged down in the details and end up spinning their wheels going no where (paraphrased).
I have to admit I am guilty of just that - I currently have 20+ projects partially started, only one of them finished but not launched, 2 of them launched but not finished, and only one of the two is actually generating income… it is frustrating knowing so many details and not being able to organize those details well enough to make things happen.

Question: I see that numerous times you make reference to acquiring a domain from one source, and web hosting from another. Why is this since they all provide these multiple services? There must be a good reason that you make this suggestion (other than to spread the ‘wealth’?.)

Thanks Meg, there are two reasons why I recommend that…
1) My web host of choice is Hostgator but they are more expensive for domains. So I recommend to get the domains through my domain site (LifeDomains) which is cheaper.
2) Typically when you register a domain through a web host, they make it difficult to manage your domain because they don’t want you to ever move to a different host. I prefer to have my domain registered with a company that is primarily in the domain registration business, and not the hosting business. LifeDomains is basically the same company as Godaddy (I am a licensed reseller… I’ll explain it as an advanced tip in a future lesson), and I have found it easy to manage my domains with them.

I have spent at lot of money buying products and not making money, I don’t have much money and I know my problem has been jumping from one thing to another when I got stuck on something. I know I need to have a plan and then spend my time, energy and money on that goal and nothing else. I just haven’t seemed able to finalize that goal yet. It’s my fault I get seduced by the next product and go there instead of just following through on what I have. My biggest roadblocks are tech stuff. I usually feel I don’t have the funds to outsource but the learning curve is steep and long.

First timer, newbie and I am along for the ride for a while. Got here indirectly from someone I trust very much in the computer security world. He advised me to check out Joel Comm’s Adsense and that is how I got to you.
I have to be honest that my first gut reaction was to run for the hills and never look back and I would have done that but I trust the computer guy a lot.
The online marketing business makes a used car salesman and Amway look like Mother Theresa. That is not who I am and have always believed that the truth does not have to be manipulated or sold. It should be able to stand on its own.
I initially tried out Info Medias instant resale templates volume 1 and 2 and the first monthly resale template and at this time I returned all but volume 1. I did not return volume 1 because you where on it. I also ordered Adsense Premier on May 08, 2008 and have not received it yet so I do not know how I feel about it. I am very leary.
To make a long story short that is how I found you and so far I feel like you have a little more of the integrity I am looking for. If not for some your Welcome Edition statements I would have said goodbye. If not for some of your comments from your wife and Why I’m Changing the Format of Eric’s Tips I would not be considering trying this.
I have been in the alternative healthcare business for 28 years and feel like I have some insights and awareness about healing. My hope is you can help me to share this in a way that is beneficial to the general public and I might be able to generate some income so I would not have to work physically as hard as I do.

It took me a year or so to figure out how to make money on the internet, and then about another 4 years to figure out how to make serious money. But I think you can really cut down your learning curve by absorbing the information I’m giving. If I were to start from scratch today, with only the knowledge in my head, I would see results within a week.

Mary Kathryn - yes I believe it is absolutely possible to succeed with your God-given passion. But keep in mind that success does not necessarily equal money. God may have other reason for you writing those books… but by all means don’t forget them. Remember Colonel Sanders, who at the age of 65 was broke and decided to sell his chicken recipe. I posted a comment earlier to thank you and I have read some of the other comments. I see you recommend LifeDomains to register domains at. But it is difficult to find a registrar outside The Netherlands who will register a .nl domain for the price I pay overhere. I just registered a domainname for myself in The Netherlands and I paid $ 40 for a period of ten years! That is only $ 4 a year!!
When I take a hosting reseller plan at Hostgator I can register domainnames thru them at Enom with a Enom reseller acoount which will cost me nothing except that I have to keep a positive balance of about $ 100 but then I wil pay $ 19,95 for each . nl domain I register per year! In your ebook about hosting you state that you have to get a .com. But that refers to businesses in the US mainly in my opinion, in The Netherlands you have to have a .nl domain or else you won’t be taken seriously. You can get a .com as a secondary domain but you have to have a .nl as your main domain!! Do you have any tips about where to register .nl domains outside The Netherlands for abut the same pricing they have overhere??

The Netherlands.
Erik- I do not know where the best place might be to register a .nl domain, but if you’re getting them for $4/year that’s great! You should be able to keep them with your current registrar and host them anywhere just by changing the DNS (this will be in a future lesson). If you’re planning on doing business mainly within your country then I would think a .nl domain would be best, but if you’re planning on doing business with the world, then I think a .com is best. And you could register both a .nl and a .com and park one on top of the other.

My question: I have set up a blog, basic, no frills yet, and acquired a domain via godaddy. I was “gifted” via a friend — two rather nice affiliate programs, and want to upload them to my blog, perhaps begin some traffic, resulting in sales. If I wanted to do that today, how would I make those pages for those Affiliates available for purchase?

@ Chris: check your mixer if something is muted or check you cables, if they are into the right plugs: mic ->pink, out ->green. Perhaps you also need to update your sound card driver.

I have a question I’ve been trying to get answered for weeks. I’m one of those “suckers” who recently paid $2000, money I didn’t have, for mentoring from one of the gurus. I cannot even get my coach to help me out with this. I know that I can be taught, follow directions, be dedicated and devote time to this. No problem with that aspect. My problem is, I don’t have a product or a service!! I’ve been told to think about hobbies, passions, interests, etc. I’ve been thinking to the point of losing sleep…a lot of it. I’ve now spent $2000 of my family’s money to be coached on how to sell a non-existent product/service. I’m not looking to make a gazillion dollars, just some supplemental income and maybe enough to help out some family memebers. The only way I can see this happening is through affiliate marketing. What do you think?

Hi Mary,
Unfortunately, you are not alone in spending a ton of money. There are so many scams out there today it is sad to think that thy brother or sister would just love to take all of your hard earned cash. I have found that a lot of the so called gurus…just want your money!
It is OK that you do not have your own products to sell right now. As you learn and grow you may just come up with some real winners that we all might want. Affiliate marketing is a good way to earn a living…but you have to choose wisely.
I would recomend that you pay close attention to Eric’s lessons as I believe that he is going to come forward with some very useful information.
I agree…spending money on things in the past that haven’t worked has happened to the best of us. Just stick with all the lessons, I’m sure they will help put everything in perspective for you!
Mary- I do beleive that *most* people are able to create a product of some sort, so I wouldn’t give up on it yet. Sometimes you just have to put something out there and see if it works, and if not, try a different product. But it is possible that affiliate marketing could be a better fit for you. Perhaps the next several lessons will give you some direction regarding the best business route for you.

OK Eric, It was time for this! Personally I have bought a ton of stuff from you and Joe Comm (and others)for years but I have not learned yet how to market them. We all have been told to start websites and participate in giveaway promotions to produce our mailing lists, but I still don’t know how to do this correctly. It looks like you will tell us. When I first read your email about you “giving up your business” or however you worded it, I was going to respond with a silly comment because I am so frustrated and broke. I waited to see what you were going to do and you ARE different from the junk we all see every week! Thanks for doing this honest one for us. BTW, I teach at a college and would like start a study group with business students who are interested in doing this kind of work as a project. All I can say Eric is “Excellent” My own journey online has been filled with bits and pieces of the puzzle that we all call Internet Marketing…every time I bought an informative ebook (with just a few pieces to the overall puzzle in it) I got 10 bonus ebooks too, clogging my computer and creating more reading for me while adding to the confusion (information overload)…I’ve learned a great deal from what I’ve read and putting it all into order and taking action was a daunting task that had hindered not just me but thousands if not millions of what would have been valuable and viable business partners had they not been discouraged and confused by greedy marketing gurus and then dropping out. I appreciate your sincerity as we all do for having the courage to put it all together without fear of being black listed by many of your top guru associates. The greatest hurdles I had to overcome was designing and building websites, it has since become what I love most about Internet Marketing…at the beginning of my online journey I remember getting emails from so called gurus telling me to hurry up and join this mlm or that mlm so I could benefit from their spill over, I guess I don’t need to tell you that it never happened and I was left having to drop out of these expensive mlm’s because of not knowing where to begin or getting any help from my upline. I’ve since made a promise to myself that whoever signs up under me will get all the help they need. So in a nut shell, thanks, I look forward to watching your series and seeing if there is something that I may have missed while on my quest for marketing knowledge.

The gurus seem to only have one group of people they are interested inhelping and that are the computer literate and you off the very beginning have instructions to help the “newbies”. Eric, in your video you said to ask questions so here is my first. From lesson one you talked about creating a folder for storing all of your emails, how do I do that with gmail. I have windows vista and have only been using since July so I am not that knowledgable yet. Please help.

I am completely numb from the last 45 days of searching the internet on how to begin a blog (step-by-step)! I am so new to this I barely know what a dns is! I have recently had a ton of so-called experts email me and tell me to just sign-up with them and they’ll take it from there?LOL, and make me wealthy beyond my wildest dreams? I may be new to this but I sure as hell did not just fall off of the truck and land on my head!
I realize the only way to wealth is knowledge and there is no way anyone can get it for me with out my knowledge thereof! The hype is appalling, I wish they would treat me/all of us like the adults we are and be direct with us instead of all of the emotional act now or your doomed to fail crapola!
I just want to know step 1, 2, 3 and so on, Is this the place? Is this man Eric going to give me the pieces of a puzzle to put a blog together? I’m not looking for him or anyone to make me rich, I expect to be the one to acquire that aforementioned knoweledge necessary, however my question is this, what’s in it for him? Why is he going to educate me/direct me without there being anything in it for him? I have not seen a pitch for any product he may be selling so I don’t get it? No one on the internet has ever offered this or done this? Wow!
Is this for real? Did I finally find someone that will help me with my mind full of mush? I am so confused at this point, I don’t know what to believe or do!
I guess I will stay with him and excitedly wait for my next video? I sure wish he would send them daily? Oh well, patience has never been my strong point! LOL!
Lastly, does he sell this material so I could go-at-it at my own pace? I could do 12hrs. a day, since that is what I have been doing for the last 3wks., Scowering the information highway until my eyes were bulging-out of their sockets! Maybe I’ll cut-it-down to 6hrs a day and give it a rest?
I will gladly pay for the necessary information but everything I looked into came with strings attached, buy this and oh, by-the-way, you have to upgrade to this in order for you to achieve that?
To hell with that up-sell garbage! Give it to me and give it to me staight! I’m an adult! I can take it!

Yeah! Finally after Many multiple thousands of dollars spent trying to get online maeketing up and running somebody will finally show me in language I can understand and 1-2-3 type lessons how to do it, just hope I’m not too late as I’m about 2 months from going under and at almost 66 years old I don’t have the resources or ability to get back up and runing so I’ll be doomed to a pension for the rest of my life. Dear God no.
I knew nothing about Internet Marketing whatsoever but was reassured by the “GURU” types that even with my total lack of computer knowledge and no knowledge of I/M I would still be able to make it in no time flat. Well I started trying in April 2007 and I’m even further behind the 8 ball now and really wondering what sort of lame brain I am.
Even this new website which gives you all you need and the mentor said yes it would be ready for the Christmas rush, well have a look at it and tell me you’d be interested in it, it doesn’t even have links unless they’ve been added in the last few hours.
At least with somebody like yourself the time I spend will be productive and I’ll feel I’m getting somewhere at long last, thank you and thanks also for making me feel I’m not a lame brain.

I received all these mails about building the website, but I always seem to put stuff off until tomorrow and then never get around to it. But if there is one thing I am going to do in this new year, it is completing these training sessions, with God’s help. I need to make an extra income and I know this is what I’ve been waiting for.

Thank you for your Lesson #1 but before you proceed with all the long procedures of your lessons, may I ask whether you offer free affiliate programs to sell your things? There are a couple of reliable internet millionaires in our own country Singapore inviting more affiliate members to join them for free, mainly for the reason that the idea is a win-win solution to both business parties concerned. From what I have researched through weeks on internet marketing and investigations in famous blogs, I realized that almost 99% of the affiiate programs are scams and MLM cases. I would only want to sell genuine things to earn money online just like I have done offline marketing in the conventional way before - honest job in a brick and mortar business. To pay to join affiliate programs basically does not make real sense at all. In a brick and mortar business, would I have to deposit some money first before working with him as a salesman if I do not actually possess his expensive products to sell yet? That is true in rare cases of a brick and mortar business these days but in online business, must we pay an affiliate program before starting? If I am an internet millionaire, I would definitely want all my affiliate members to join me for free in order that my business empire will rise like Solomon the Great whose every single pillar of his palaces were made of pure gold constructed by his well-paid workers. This is what I want - likened to the idea of Solomon the Great who had happy men under his rule for a long time. May you reply to me first to cut the story short?

Hi Eric; I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn how to do a online business. I’m one who needs to spoon fed information in order to get it. This looks like the right program for me. I have tried a couple that turned out to be scams, and this is how I came across this program. When I typed in the website it took me to the warnings and I’m glad it did, I could have invested alot of money. Being laid off and trying to find work has been almost impossible. So I decided I need to work for myself not for the other guy that doesn’t really look out for you anyway.

I teach how to build an online business. It’s not instant, and its not a get rich quick thing. It generally takes at least a small amount of capital to get your business started. I talk about all of that in lesson #8.

I ran across your site online, not quite sure how, but I’m grateful that I did. I enjoyed your review of Mike Filsaimes’ affiliate website. I got the site prior to learning about getting it through you. I would have done it through your link because like you, I believe that you should host the review site on your domain site. However, it can be a nightmare uploading it & getting it running. I did register for your course however, although its beginner related, I feel that I can pick up some valuable lessons from you alone the way. I am going to ask you for your help with the review site. I know that the info on the video indicated that the specifics of how to upload and manage the affiliate website was reserved for people who got the site through you. If you can find it in your heart to help by allowing me full access to that video I would be eternally grateful. I have been struggling in this business for about 6 months now, and have exhausted all of my budget, haven’t made much money with it yet, & my wife is giving me that look, constantly… you know that-how long will you keep putting in your time & our money into this thing look. I really love this business. I’ve been mostly during PPC camgaings. I spend about 13-16 hours a day trying different things, researching,starting a campaign, testing it,etc. I know that I have been blessed to do this, otherwise I don’t think that I would be this passionate about it. First off I want to say to Marlin that he is in my prayers. Eric I will be visiting your Pray for me site daily, I truly think that is a wonderful thing that you are doing.I am sure that God has blessed you because you have blessed so many others.
I am not sure how I ended up on your mailing list but I believe it is a blessing from God. I have a genetic disorder which has led to six brain surgery’s and lots of chemo to rid me of numerous tumors. Within the last 2 years I have been slowly losing my airway. I now have a permanent trach in my neck that allows me to breathe. It is very difficult to speak and soon I will lose that ability. Due to my illness I had to sell a business I built from the ground up that supported my family for 17 years. I sold it for a good price but I held the mortgage and within 7 months the new owners ran it into the ground and fled with all receivables causing me to lose my income. I have been going through foreclosure for about a year now it is a terrible process. I have to foreclose on them to retrive my assets.
I cannot work out outside of the home due to my disabilities. I have been working hard at IM for about 6 to 8 months. I took a sixteen week course from someone else and I did pick up some skills, but the truth is I have spent 10 times more money than I have made. I think I may be making some progress now (I hope) I have about 16 sites up of which 8 of them are review sites for affiliate products, those have been my most recent projects but I have to say I am nervous about losing more money on adwords promoting the sites.
I recently purchased Butterfly Marketing because everyone made such a big deal out of it, do you think that was a good move? I was not going to keep paying for his newsletter because it is just another expense. I have not taken a look at the affiliate site he gives with the purchase, do you think it is something worth setting up?
You seem to be extremely genuine and I love to fellowship with other Christians. I will be following along with your lessons, I believe God led me in this direction.
I read through a lot of comments and a video presentation about the Butterfly marketing was mentioned a few times, is that anything I can find on your blog somewheres ? Well I am sorry for rambling on so long.

Yes Butterfly Marketing is a good investment. I paid over $1000 for it personally and it has made over $100k for me. I talk about Butterfly in Lesson #32.
As for the affiliate website. It can be a nice tool to use for your business. But if you don’t yet have an existing online business, I’d skip the affiliate site and focus on setting up your business first. I did review it here:

On a good note, I received your welcome over one month ago but really was doing so many things at the same time and not accomplishing anything. In essence, I too believe in the Lord and not ashame to say that I am a born again Christian and definitely trust in God.
I prayed about these lessons and got my answer to take it slow and easy and to go with the lessons one day at a time. If you’re trading options in the US market, I would definitely recommend getting my Trading Pro System.
As for the others, it just depends on what you want to do. If it’s on my recommendation list, then I think it’s a worthwhile investment. Monthly Income Formula is for people who want to start a membership website. Push button Marketer is for people who want to save a lot of time by using macros to do common tasks for them.

Right now, my question is not about online business issues, it’s about the right broker platform needed to make a better trading experience. Today I bought your Trading Pro System because I’m already trading with options and because I’m sure your trading course will be very helpful to me.
I trade with Optionsxpress, but I’m seriously trying to open an account with another broker such as Trading Station since they seem to have a better software, trading platform and much better lower comissions for option contracts ($1.00 per each contract vs. $15.00 from 1 to 10 contracts in Optionsxpress or even TOS). Can you give me any advise on this? I would appreciate it very much (I know the course is shown with TOS but TS seems to be a better option since they have lower comissions).

We recommend thinkorswim as an options platform. I also use Scottrade Elite for stock trading, but its not the best options platform.

My advice would be to be patient and take it one step at a time… Based on the method you seem to be following, the next step would be to get some PPC traffic.
But I would recommend following my lessons to build your business, as I think its best to have your own product in addition to affiliate marketing.
Eric I know you have been sending Lessons since I signed up with Mackenzie Lee’s course and yes I do want to learn. I have different ideas and I already started working on the website but it is not complete with ad words, etc. Keep them coming but I taking baby steps since this is all new to me and my first time doing this. I came here because I wanted to respond to the email you sent me. I’ve put a lot of feelers out and have collected a ton of information, but that’s not my problem.
The problem is that everyone I’ve contacted has their own agenda, and I’m getting hammered. I’m currently building a website, and I have some very specific ideas about what I want to accomplish with it. I’m a person that learns very quickly, but even so I need time to digest all of the information I’ve collected.
With that said, I’m very interested in hearing more about what I saw in my initial introduction, and learning about how I can incorporate these methodologies into my business plan, which is why I’m here!
Time is a serious issue for me. Between trying to work on the site, and picking up all of the training from all of the affiliates I’m going to be promoting, and keeping up with all the email I’m getting, etc. I’m sure you get the picture!
Hi Eric, I believe you are an answer to prayer for me. I donated $159 to Daystar to start a home based internet business with Jim Paris called Christian Internet Money. Well I have learned some but they give you bits and pieces of what you can do and now I am in overload.
I set up with adsense, clickbank, and affiliate with amazon. I have done some lenses on Squidoo and am trying to create my own website with website tonight. I also set up with Bill Crosby’s traffic machine, $49 and top3 online products which has cost be almost $150 but have not made one penny with any of them. I have done this now for 3 months.
I am 67 years old and was laid off from Wachovia bank, had a few heart attacks and am unable to work outside my home. I only need to make about $1000 per month but so far nothing. Where should I start. I have listened to 4 of your tips and am not sure which direction to go. Do I need to set up with the traffic machine sites? By the way, I graduated from Loveland High School many years ago and now live in Littleton, Colorado. Please help!

My best advice is to keep following these lessons and taking it one step at a time. Hopefully it will help fill in the gaps and help you assimilate your knowledge from the other course you bought.

I was very impressed with both Lesson #1 (even though there was nothing really new in it for me) and your personna. I like your PrayWay. If there was every anyone who needs a miracle, it’s me. My husband is emotionally handicapped and has not been able to find a job in over 11 years! Social Security turned him down (they turn everyone down the first time — so I’ve heard) saying that he may have been handicapped when he was younger but they do not see it now. The “tests” they did were laughable!!!
I have been trying to launch my e-commerce business since August 2007 and I’ve spent more than I’ve brought in. I want to build my own websites (I like diversification) but I have to start making REAL money. The wolf of foreclosure is at my back door. We have one month’s mortgage on hold at the bank and practically all of the second one. That will stop foreclosure for a bit. I need to get out from under DEBT and STRIFE!! This house means a whole lot to me. I inherited it from my parents (I’m an only child). The mortgage was made to remodel the house to correct the things my mother had always complained about and make this our Dream House. It is also what got me motivated to finish my education and pursue Interior Design; however, I have learned that it’s not really what I want to do.
My first two goals are to pay off my $450K mortgage (the house was worth $620K) and my $40K in school loans. I am on track to graduate in December with a B.S. in Interior Design WITH HONORS. I am almost 60! I love e-commerce and want to be a great success at it. My husband is a Doubting Thomas and yells at me about how much money I have spent trying to get off the ground!
You said in an earlier post that if you were starting over with all you know now that you could be making good money in about a week. Is that really possible?????? If it is I will be sure to do EVERYTHING you say!!!!

I am so sick of being ’sucked’ into one program after another, only to be left feeling like I was taken advantage of one more time. But, I keep buying in hopes that this one will be the one. Can anyone else out there relate? What I am really starting to hate is getting a great sales page of a program telling me how great this is going to improve my life and then after purchasing, immediately being given a OTO to really have a chance to improve. What a let down! The first one was suppose to do so much, but now, if I don’t immediately upgrade or buy something that goes with my original purchase, I am left feeling like I will fail at the start. I’ve started a drop ship business back in Feb, but haven’t made any money with it. Can you tell me how I can get traffic there and if a traffic engine will work or not.
Also, I have just bought into a program that a consumer website recommended as their top pick. So far the site is free, but they want to charge me to get it sent to all the different search engines, host it, and get free traffic. I know I need a host site, but will these other things work.

As for the program you’re referring to, no I would not recommend paying them for those services. It is better to invest in your own website rather than one that is merely a part of someone else’s program. Throughout these lessons you will learn how to build a website, get it hosted, drive traffic to it, etc.

There’s really no right answer to that question, as it all depends on what kind of business and how you’re building it. But for the type of business I teach, I generally recommend having at least $200 of working capital as you get started.

You can save them in Gmail. They use a system called labels, so you can make a label for my emails.
