How the winner was chosen: As stated at the beginning of the contest, it would be random this time (Last year I had such a hard time picking the best comments!). So I took the total # of comments before the deadline, and went to Random.org and generated a number between 1 and that number. Then I counted down from the top of the comments until I reached that number.

Relative to you and the internet, “Eric’s Tips” is one of the things I’m thankful for, because of the clear consise, no-nonsense advice. Thanks Eric. Just saw your video on Site Profit Bot software. Looks interesting and I have a few questions. I have to be cautious because I’m a Senior Citizen on Social Security, so I can’t afford to waste money. I enjoy all your informative emails very much. I may be a little biased because I have a son named Eric (23 years old), and you remind me of him. Anyhow, unlike most of your readers I’m not looking to rule the universe, I’m looking to try and create something which would get me $60-$75 per day on a predictable basis. That would allow me to have medical insurance and basically change my life for the better.
On to the questions. First, in your opinion do you think this software can help me get to where I’m trying to go? What type of sites does it create, HTML I think or WordPress or what. Next, can you use other templates or must it be one of their three (kind of limiting)? How friendly is it to tweak SEO (meta tags, H1 and H2 headers etc) to get free traffic? Are the training videos any good, I really didn’t care much for the gal in the videos. I found her volume low and a little difficult to understand. I have hosting (5C class) at SEO Hostgator. Can these sites be easily added up to be an “add on domain” (I get confused doing this stuff…tough to teach an old dog new tricks I guess. Lastly if all is good, any chance you will be making any videos on the detail of how to use the program?

Thanks Jim. To answer your questions…
The software may or may not help you get closer to your business goals. As I often say, there is no magic bullet. You need to have a business plan, and if building these type of sites is a part of your plan then yes the software could help you get there.
It creates dynamic sites… PHP mainly.
I’m not sure about tweaking meta-tags… it seems to be automatically generated.
The training videos are not great, but I didn’t need training videos. There is a PDF user manual.
I would assume you could use them on an addon domain. I think you would basically upload it into a subdirectory of the main domain. But I personally don’t use addon domains, because you can host unlimited domains by themselves on a reseller account, and I don’t worry much about the 5C.
I will probably not be making more videos of how to use it… but maybe I would if there was enough demand for it.

Yes you can use your own hosting as long as they’re up to date with PHP and mod_rewrite.
Thanks Eric, but may I know what is mod_rewrite? What is that for?
I was just as curious what mod_rewrite was and what to ask the hosting sources if it was included in their plan. This is some of the information I was able to come up with. Hope it helps.

I, too, following your recommendation purchased Site Profit Bot. I believe it is a good piece of software, but to my disappointment, the quality is tarnished by the poor quality of the video tutorial and [with all due respect] the voice of the narrator which lacks the energy.
I guess I will have to depend more on their pdf documents [which is rather unfortunate], because I have a tendency to absorb learning through visual examples faster.
Still, there are many things to be thankful, especially to your faithful e-mails and great tips that you have been providing so far.

Eric, I missed your brief video tutorial and skipped right to the Site Profit Bot. I wish I had not skipped that part. It is so much clearer and easier both in my eyes and my ears. JP should have hired you to do the video tutorial!

The price is right, BUT, there’s a Pro option and that entails monthly fee. How good are the Websires withoutb pro option? And i’ve been waiting weeks for adsense Id. Can affiliate links be used instead?
I did not use any of the pro features in my demo, so it’s not essential. You could use something other than Adsense, using the custom blocks feature.

This is the time of year where everyone says a prayer of thanks and gives the joy of giving. I myself thank the Lord every day for the gift that he has given me. I pass on his gift of giving all year round.
Obviously I am thankful for all the fantastic advice you give me everyday. It saves me so much time. The extra time allows me to go to watch my 3 grand kids play on six sport teams.
I am also thanful that our family is healthy, and because of you we are moving toward being wealthy.

What am I not thankful would be a better question, because that list is of no importance. I am thankful for every breath I take and family friends. I can not began to even say what I am thankful for in one post.
I am a nurse and see so many that are not doing as good as me. I have a patient who is a kid well 22, he fell off a roof three years ago and was paralyzed from the waist down. He is my greatest joy, He has such a great personality and when I think of ones like this that just keep there heads high, it gives me hope.

I too bought Site Profit Bot - just finished downloading it. I took the 30 day trial for the advertising modules but not sure if it’s worth the $47/month price. What are your thoughts.

There is so much to be thankful for its is hard to choose just one. It was not to hard to choose the most important one to be thankful for. I thank GOD for his gift of life he gave us through his sacrifice of his son JESUS CHRIST.
I lost both of my grandmars this year. Both of them sufferd from cancer. I am thankfull that they are not in pain anymore and there in a much better place. Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays of the year. It is a time for family and, of course, feasting. I don’t do as much of the latter as I used to so I am thankful for the 50+ lbs. I have lost since last Thanksgiving!
I, too, appreciate you and your web site. I have shared it with many Internet Marketing want-to-be’s. (I wish there was an easier way to find Tip #1 and then for the user to go through them sequentially.)

Hi Eric, thanks for giving us a chance to share what we are thankful for, especially this time of year. Although we celebrated our Canadian Thanksgiving last month, I still enjoy celebrating with my American friends, even if it is on the sidelines.
I’m very thankful for my health, good friends, wonderful family, beautiful grandchildren, the succes in my business and several little furry “kids” who give an abundance of love.
What I am really thankful and grateful for is the health of our youngest granchild who was born prematurely last October (’09). He only weighed 1 lb. 10 oz when he was born but he’s a little fighter and survived the odds. We recently celebrated his first birthday. Because of his will power, determination and strength, we are thankful for every day with him.

I’m very thankful for having reached the big 6-0, thankful for having reasonably good health, and thankful for genuine people like Eric in giving me inspiration to try internet marketing at my age. It makes me feel 16 again, although the brain might need a bit of oiling!

I’m thankful for Eric’s tips. It is hard to find reliable information on the web on internet marketing that doesn’t have some form of hook. Many people who spam my email claim to have my best interest in mind but in reality they just want to sell me something and much of it is junk. “Secrets sold” are often outdated tools that no longer work. Eric gives good advice for free and that is hard to find.
While I am at it. I am thankful for my family, husband, 4 kids and God’s incredible blessings of food, a home, health and lots of good friends. God is good!

The information that you have provided in Erics Tips has allowed me to get a site up.
As of yet I have had no response to see that anyone I have told about it has even checked it out. I am thankful that I have not had to spend the money that I need for bills cause I have been out of work for over a month. I would have regretted spending the money because I have seen no return as of yet. I put a domain name in a parking lot, then created my site on Google and forwarded the connection from my nameserver. All I need is to market my site name and hope someone sees the value in my product that I do. Grateful is the word for the day. I am alive and have hope. Everything that is growing is in a constant state of change.

Thanksgiving day. I know about it, but being a Norwegian, living in Thailand I am not very familiar with it.

Thankful for a beautiful, understanding wife.
I was a supervisor at my job. A worker on another shift said that I would look good with a bullet hole in my head. Tried for 2 months to get the company to take a comment like that seriously, including filing a police report. The police could not do anything because the guy had not said it to me directly. He had told others that I would look good with a bullet hole in my head and that he may just take a ball bat to my knees. The company only talked to the guy and took no real disciplinary actions.
My wife did not want me to go in at all after she heard what was said but we have to pay bills. With no college, the job market is not great for a 51 year old Vet. Gave up that $70,000 a year job in June and have been on unemployment since then. No real opportunities for me at this time. wife is retired and on SS. We will be moving from Illinois to Huntsville, AL after the first of the year.
We have been together since ‘95, second marriage for both. Through all the tough times she has kept me going. Got me to give up alcohol in ‘95, cigarrettes in ‘96, gambling in ‘97 (yes, I had a ton of problems when she met me). Thought this was THE job that would provide the retirement income we will need. We will struggle but I know she will stay by my side.
Thank the Lord for my wife and thank you, Eric, for allowing me to share.

I thankful for something that has nothing to do with work or the web.
My x-wife suffers from some mental problems and she ‘vanished’ with my kids. I started seeing 2 of the 3 in September, after 3 years of no news.
Legal stuff happens slowly, but it seems that I’ll be able to continue seeing them and there is even a chance that I’ll get custody (in front of the judge 28 Jan 10).
So this year I have a lot to be thankful for - not having any clue if your kids are alive or dead takes it out of you - your soul is wounded for life.

What I am thankful for:
My Dad passed away last week after a long battle with cancer, and since then we have had so many people come to us and say how he had a positive impact on their lives.
I grew up in Northern Ireland, and he was a Civil Rights Campaigner in the 1960s and 1970s, standing up for people who had no-one else to stand up for them.
He was also a teacher, and was a great believer in people - he encouraged a lot of people to do things that they wouldn’t otherwise have had the confidence to do, and also discouraged a lot of kids from joining paramilitary organisations.
We’re only finding out the full story now, as he was never one for blowing his own trumpet.
That’s what I’m thankful for - that my Dad had such a positive impact on so many people.

First and always I’m thankful to my family who have supported me on my wild and crazy ride of entrepreneurial independence.
Yes, I said independence. I started my online journey in 2003 of November. Posted my first video in November 2007, started my blog in the fall of 2008, and QUIT my job of 17 years with the school system October 13, 2009 at 1:43 PM with an I Quit email!
I could not have done this without the help and support of my family. They never gave up on me and never complained. I now have 12 employees from the Philippines, my daughter works for me full-time and I walk 15 feet to my office each morning.

So I bit the bullet and want this to suceed as I have a d9 co. website(unlimited ) they say for domains.
But my question to you is if you can tell me that they say $47.00 after the 30 day trial for more layouts.
Do you think there system will continue to function rotating stuff on my site if I do not continue my membership $47.00 monthly.
I have not opened up the program yet but I am in clickbank,google adsense and ebay but not Amazon yet so I can be prepaired to set up all.
I guess I am not only still a newbie but also a late starter.

I am not such a good writer but but I give it a try at answering your question.
At the end of March of this year I had a massive heart attack. You think you are ready for almost anything but this experience I was not ready for at all both emotionally or financially.
After a triple bypass, I found myself back into ICU as the bypass failed and they had to start trying stents.
Eight months into recovery, I am still fighting all the residual effects of the heart attack. I am still discovering and exploring things I can do and can not do and dealing with the financial hit I took.
Now that I have painted a picture of my life as it is, let me paint a picture of what sustains me and that which I am most thankful for.
What sustains me Eric is life its self and the incredible support circle I have around me.
You see, my natural high is life is helping people. I teach Internet marketing. I don’t take that task lightly because for me it is about helping folks to enpower their life.
I want them to also know that when faced with adversity emotional or financial that you have a choices. You can allow yourself to be crushed or you can fight back.
Circumstances in our lifes can be less than desirable but that does not mean you have to give way to it. You can baby step yourself through a crisis and move toward the
changes and goals you desire and deserve.
Thankful…oh yeah. I don’t take for granted simple things in life, from getting out of bed each morning, talking with friends and family to petting the dog.
I wake up each morning thankful for another opportunity, another day, for challenges to overcome and conquer.

Thanks much for your timely no-nonesense advice. This could well fit into a business approach I’ve been pondering, as I have a rather inordinate amount of domains laying around. I was pondering just doing something with the domains themselves, but monetizing them first would likely be more logical and this could fit the bill, especially from a time stand point. As someone who’s “cleaning house” as well, does the upsell make sense for selling the sites down the line? With cash slightly tight this time of year, can you obtain the reseller’s license at a later date? Thanks, and Happy Turkey Day!

However, the things I’m most thankful for have nothing whatsoever to do with the internet or marketing.
I’m thankful that I live in the USA. Even with all of it’s flaws and troubles, it’s still the best place on earth to live. I’m thankful for the men and women that give their lives to protect us from our enemies. I’m thankful that I am free to choose what I do for a living, have a say in choosing who my leaders are, to be able to worship how I please and to whatever GOD I might choose.
I’m thankful for medical technology and what can be accomplished today. For doctors and scientists that can figure out how to direct a tiny beam of light to a remote area of the brain to destroy a tumor, as they did for my wife.
And finally to the many families that have lost a loved one, but passed on the Gift of Life to people like me that were in dire need of a life saving transplant.
Yes Eric I do thank you for all that you do for us trying to make it in the world of IM, but in the grand scheme of things, you are quite a bit farther down on the list of things that I’m thankful for.

I’m so thankful that the Pilgrims were some of the first settlers that landed on the shores of this great country of ours. Where despite the economy and a few other problems, we can still have our voices heard and we have the right to worship the God of our forefathers. I am thankful that as a small boy I was adopted by an American soldier in Germany and that he brought me here to live. I am thankful for my salvation and for the fact that I can read and own the Holy Bible. I’m thankful for my health, the ability to think and reason, and that I have choices. I am thankful that I was delivered from a severe drug addiction and have been clean over 14 years. I am thankful for all the wonderful Christian people that God has put in my life who love me just for who I am and not for what I can do for them. I am thankful that when my heart gets broke, I have a God who can more than make it better. I am thankful for those who give more than they take and I am especially thankful for all the men and women in our military who daily put their selves in harms way and those who gave their lives so that we might have and keep these great freedoms and choices.

As a northern neighbor from Canada we have already had our special Thanksgiving Day celebration but having lived in and worked with so many Americans over the years I still enjoy celebrating two Thanksgiving Days. - Double the turkey ; ) - We are very fortunate to live in countries were we can be free to be who we want to be and have the opportunities to attain our goals and that is one of the things that I am grateful for.

15 years ago I lost my son in car accident and I am eternally grateful for our time together. I am thankful for my my family, friends and my wife of 32 years. It’s important in these tough times to keep our prospective and remember what is truly sacred. Let’s hope our need and desire for money does not overshadow our relationships with those near and dear to our hearts. I was forced, like many others, to learn that once a loved one is gone their gone for ever. So I am thankful every time I hear a loved ones voice and see their face. Today, as everyday, I am reminded that my father used to say “every day above ground is a good day”. And, do you know of any good Wordpress plugins you could recommend that would search for keywords and bring in dynamic content: written news, blogs, forums, video, and pictures?
It depends on your site strategy. If it’s a site like Eric’s Tips or if its a sales letter, you’re right… you wouldn’t want people to be leaving the site through all sorts of random links. But the dynamic content is a double edged sword because it can help with SEO and can bring in free traffic. And if you’re monetizing the site with Adsense, then you do want your visitors to be accustomed to clicking links all over your site.

First of all, I appreciate you, and am thankful for your consistent “rain or shine” -seemingly tirelessly written very useful, professional tips. You are doing it “unpaid” for some of us while some gurus don’t do half of what you re doing, and they are well paid for it - eerr..wouldn’t even open their mouth if they are not paid for it - so to speek.
I am thankful for your tips and you being such down to earth advisor to so many - newbies like me, I am one of many who are reading your tips every day, and so far I was so busy with all the other reading materials as well, that I neglected to take time to thank you for what you are doing .
It is very important to us newcomers to this arena. I mean arena, where the intellectual fight sometimes brutally being fought out, so smoothly, that one hardly realize it, that within a short period of time got rid off of thusands of dollars. Sometimes I ask myself:- is what we’re here for? - to learn all that, on a very nice, sometimes smooth, and sometimes not so nice way. Well, “such is life” as the saying goes - yet we are getting hooked, and continue doing what we are doing, because we are determined to to earn or make money.
But, I am thankful of the chance that there is a light ahead, and I learn more everyday, and it will help me chase that ball to that goal where I began to kick/chase almost 3 months ago, and I am still chasing it, as I have never made any money yet!!!

First up happy thanksgiving and thanks for giving me so much over the years. I’ve been following you for some time and I have a few websites I made using adsense templates I bought from you who knows when ago.
I have a couple of questions..
1. If I create new websites in SPB and enter the FTP details for these new websites the same as the FTP info for the websites I created originally from you’re templates will they be over written and the new SPB site show up? I want to update the poor performing ones. It seems to me that SPB may be the ideal way to get them performing again without to much effort.
2. I would like your opinion on whether or not the SPB sites will leave a footprint for Google to pick up and throw these new sites straight into the Sandbox. If this is likely then is there anything you think can be done to help support the SPB software that will help?
As you have bought the software yourself I would appreciate your thoughts on any tweaks that can be done to make the sites get indexed quickly and rank quickly.
Also how easy is it to create new templates, can they be created and added by the user?…maybe a new business here??
I know other folk have asked about more video tutorials….I think the value add would be to create -How to get the best out of SPB- type videos.

1) yes the site will be overwritten. Well technically only the files with the same name will be overwritten. But the index will be overwritten which means the SPB site will show up.
2) It’s hard to say. I haven’t noticed anything that would leave a major footprint, but it’s possible. So yes you could tweak the template or make your own to make it unique.
I’m still thinking about making some more videos for it…

i too am a senior retires disable person,I havn’t watch your video prior to writing this comment. because you have never steered me wrong in your lessons,i was a total newbie to the computer prior to taking your eric’s tips now i can do things on the computer that even my family and grandchildren didn’t know about.they no longer see me as gramps instead now they say hey paps how did you do that thats neat. i thank you for giving me the chance to learn these new skills.Now you ask what am i grateful for i’ll tell you.My wife of 45 years was recently found to have a spot on her pancreas that turned out to be cancerous,we have no insurance but the good doctors of alabama’s U.A.B medical school operated on her as a charity case and removed half of her liver by doing an operation called a wipple.she starts chemo on the thirieth of Nov.they say they got it all out and this is only a precaution I pray to God they are right i wouldn’t want to lose her.I’m thankful i live in a country that cares for its people,and i’m thankful for the men and women who serve our great country in the armed forces.I’m grateful for the out going giving and sharing that the people of America give to others in their time of need.Like when a mud slide hits a village or a tidal wave hit a country we the people of America care enough to help out no question or favors asked just the kindness that God lets live in our hearts for all of these things i’m thankful.may all your readers and your family have a happy and blessed Thanksgiving day.

I am Thankful for many things today and everyday. I am thankful for my precious children who, although they do not live with me now, I have had the pleasure of growing very close to. I have been separated from their mother for 2 1/2 years now and I was their sole caretaker for the first 1 1/2 years after we first became separated. She became overwhelmed by her responsibilities as a mom and wife and walked out on us. I had been a plumber for 22 years and lost my wife, business and home all in less than 10 months that year. I grew very close to my 3 young children (ages 5, 3, and 14 months) and had to let my business go due to lack of responsible babysitters. Shortly after I lost my home and my credit was shot. There were a series of painful struggles during the past few years but by far the worst was when she decided she wanted the kids back and the courts granted her physical custody. My heart was broken, and I was reduced to a Sunday only Daddy. At that point I had been getting online initially to try and find a job (I had not worked for someone else for almost 15 years at that point) and quickly realized that there was no recession online. I spent alot of time and money on useless products that only taught me how NOT to spend my money! Fortunately there are a few people on the internet who OVER DELIVER (like you Eric)and I have finally started to put the pieces of the puzzle together. I am on close to 100 mailing lists and get lots of emails everyday…most of which I delete or unsubscribe. You are the ONE that I look forward to reading everyday. What I’m mostly grateful for this year is the thought, resolution, application and implementation of a plan to dig 2 wells in an African village where they now have to walk miles daily to get water. On my 50th birthday, my wife told me she was pregnant with our first child. There was no one who could walk me through the experience I was about to go through for the next 8 years.
I am thankful for my family and very thankful that when it comes to starting a new business on the internet, I do not have to wing it on my own like raising your first child, but there are those who can and have helped me learn the ropes the easy way.

hi Eric at first i didn’t really pay attention to the useful information you were sending me every couple of days but then i was struggling to build my website so i took a look at the videos you were bringing. I have to say they were very helpful! I’m not just saying that so i can get a free website, im sayin that because it really is helpful! I know this because i have bought my fair share of digial products online about how to make money on the net and comparing your information with the products i came across, i have to say you broke it down in better useful details than all of them. Especially for a person like me who is just starting to get into the internet marketing, i can actually follow it step by step with less confusion and more production in real time!

The reply from your ‘Senior Fan, Jim’ could well be mine in many ways. At age 85, a WWII and Korean War Marine Combat Corpsman, it is a tough learning curve for me in respect to setting up website(s).
I have sold books for over 60 years and published two, but still have on hand 8,000 other titles to list with literally thousands of vintage magazine and book art, illustrations, ads and articles to list so I need to work much faster than I am doing now.
Would it be feasible (and simple enough) for me to use the Site Profit Bot to set up niches for my paper sales in those areas?

As a member of the military who has served in Iraq several time and is about to go to Afghanistan, its nice to know that people will take the time to help whenever they can.
I’m thankful that I have my daughter back. She was ill for five years and my wife never gave up. We traveled the entire east coast looking for answers(every known specialist you can think off) for five years with no results. Finally, 70 miles from our home we found a doctor who was able to get her back in a three week time period. It’s been 2 wonderful years. We are so fortunate.

Thank you Eric for affording us the space to publicly express our thankful hearts. BEing thankful helps our spirit man and our minds. Heaven loves our thankfulness too. There is a time to laugh and a time to mourn, but it is always time to give thanks. I am thankful that I can have an attitude of thanks. Last month because my mom remarried, I had a new grandmother for one month and 2 weeks. This morning around 3am my new grandmother passed away, peacefully, on Thanksgiving. Wow. The Parrot
A young man named John received a parrot as a
gift. The parrot had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary.
Every word out of the bird’s mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity. John tried and tried to change the bird’s attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else he could think of to “clean up” the bird’s vocabulary. Finally, John was fed up and he yelled at the parrot. The parrot yelled back. John shook the parrot and the parrot got angrier and even ruder. John, in desperation, threw up his hand, grabbed the bird and put him in the freezer.
For a few minutes the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed. Then suddenly there was total quiet. Not a peep was heard for over a
minute. Fearing that he’d hurt the parrot, John quickly opened the door to the freezer. The parrot calmly stepped out onto John’s outstretched arms and said,
“I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions. I’m sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behavior.”
John was stunned at the change in the bird’s
attitude. As he was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in his
behavior, the bird continued,
“May I ask what the turkey did?”

A little off the subject but I Very Thankful for just being alive, for our Good Lord,and my family.
Last Oct.I had a full check-up. I new our Plant was going to have a large Lay Off and I had put quite a few medical things off.I did get Layed Off in Dec.2008 but the Check Up show two spots with Cancer.
The first half of 2009 was spent in hospitals with surgerys and having to lay around and heal.I also had a brain aneurysm during all of this.
Now,with the Good Lords help and my family’s,I am Cancer free,my brain healed,although my memory is bad along with my hearing and sight.
I am just So Very Thankful To Be Alive!
Eric , you’re awesome always,, the most prominent thing that i’m thankful is “my children” they’re my main motive to get going every day and of course the all mighty “God”.

*I feel a warm cup of cocoa, coffee, tea or soup in my hand - God has given us electricity, water, or a cafe with others to help us. Or feel a hug, or the softness, smoothness of the things near me.
*I taste something yummy and remember the quote taste and see, the Lord is good
*I smell wonderful aromas coming from the ocean, the forest, or a kitchen.
*I read others reasons to be thankful-country,family,friends,business, others patience and support and add “me too”

You will never know just how much you have helped me this year. I have been follwing your tips now for about 6 months and was still getting only a few results. Then in September I got very ill and was in the Hospital for 3 weeks and then to a physical rehab center for 3 more weeks. While I was in there my place of residence caught fire and burned to the ground. I was lucky enough to have two close friends let me move in with them and give me an old computer to continue to work on my website skills. As November first neared I had a thought that woke me in the middle of the night( as most thoughts often do), and come up with a great idea for a new site. We now call it shirtblirt. Its a website where you can order personalized shirts with any saying you want. We have now advertised in all the cool niches you suggested and also on ebay, facebook and the like. Our sales are starting to skyrocket and its all because of what I learned from you. Talk about being thankful!! Because of my illness I am permanently disabled and cannot work on my feet anymore. But with the power of the internet I can say that I am well on my way to being independent once again. Now that Thanksgiving is here I am so thankful for the day I opened your first e-mail and took a chance. Happy Holidays to you and you family!

I am thankful for so much. Even though I am still struggling myself to reach that pinnacle of success, I am grateful for the opportunity to help those less fortunate. One of my prospects turned out to be a man who really wants to supplement his meagre disability pension, or replace it and become independent of the state, but has no disposable income to spend to get that start. We have stayed in touch over the past months as I keep an eye open for an opportunity for him.
I have been looking for something that he could get started with where very little or no startup cost is required. Needless to say, I have not found it… until now.

I am thankful for life and health. I lost my fiance a couple years ago in a car accident and it happened 15 minutes after leaving my side. It opened my eyes as to how fragile life is and that we should never take our loved ones and anyone for that matter for granted. Each day we should open our eyes and be thankful that we are alive and that our Creator through His Grace has given us another day in which to be all we can be. Once we have health and strength we can accomplish anything we set our minds to. If I was offered 2 choices; a billion dollars or perfect health and strength i would have to choose health and strength. With those 2 things i can go on to success. But without them having a billion and being in bad health or dying is like being stuck in the toilet with no toilet paper.

Sad to say that I’m quitting for a while all niches that I’ve started due to some problem over Saudi Rules. Yes, I’m in Saudi Arabia, an OFW who is just wishing to earn some amount to continue supporting my family on financial needs come the time I retire, 1-1/2 years from now.
If I’m not mistaken, it was 2007 when I signed up with you and since then I keep on reading your newsletters where in the early stages it was somewhat irritating because I didn’t understand what you were talking about and adding to this the slowness of our internet connections during those days. We are a couple of late 50’s baby boomers that reside “down under” so don’t celebrate Thanksgiving (officially).
We have a lot to thank the past year for. We remain in good health and happily married and in love after 37 years and importantly to us our family of 3 children & 9 grandchildren also have good health.
I remain employed whilst many millions around the world have not only lost their jobs but their family homes through these troubled economic times.
I’m thankful that I stubbled across your “tips” and have started to see some light at the end of the Internet Marketing tunnel, I think? We have started to to regain our house from all the boxes that have been stored there for the past 2 years as we ventured into the import of a product to sell on eBay. I have stopped purchasing every bit of prodcut information I could get my hands on and now have a good focus on targeting particular markets. I don’t believe there are any IM mistakes found that we may not have made?
The year has a lot to be thankful for and with our new-found enthusiasim and focus the 2010 year will even be better.

I am from Canada so our Thanksgiving Day has come and gone, but everyday we should be thankful for having what we need, courageous enough to go after what we want and wise enough to know the difference.
Well,my home remodeling and construction buisness has failed and i will be filing for bankrupcy in Febuary.
But,so far i have found odd jobs,and because of people like Eric who give things away for free,i will be making some money on the internet shortly.
So im thankfull right now that myself,wife,and 2 boys still have a roof over our head and a hot meal.

Although I realize this is not a question and answer page, there is 1 thing that occurs to me.
The websites are made around a single keyword, however,most searches these days are made using a keyword phrase or long tail keyword.For example “how to win at poker” etc.
I was just wondering if it will still work and if anyone can shed some some light on this?

I live in Australia, for me thanksgiving day is every day, as it should be. Between the have and have nots of this world, I am in the middle, so while I do not envy the ‘haves’ I can understand and empathise with the ‘have nots’. This quote resonates quite well “I complained about not having shoes, until I saw someone without legs”. So, I am grateful for all that God have given me, a wonderful and understanding wife, and two beautiful adult girls. I will split this into two parts as your post included a couple of topics.
Firstly Site Profit Bot, this is quite timely because I have been investigating ways to set up some adsense sites.
As the CPC increases, so does the % per click return to you, so identifying keywords with high CPC and good traffic and low competition, ranking your site on the first page of Google should generate some additional income.
Site Profit Bot and the various advertising modules look ideal for this.
However, like an earlier post here, I have no idea how we ensure the on page SEO can be optimized for the main keyword and any LSI keywords.
It is also timely because only a couple of days ago one of your lessons was on writing sales letters, so with this in my mind, I read the SPB sales letter word for word.
Well, there are quite a few spelling errors in it and in parts, the use of english doesn’t make sense, almost like it is a foreign language converted…
There was some proof of income generated, but it sort of was hard to verify if it was from one of these sites.
The site set up video, well the girl speaking definitely had an eastern european accent and with a Belarus advertising banner flashing in one shot, might have indicated where the product is from. No problem with that but with a large portion of cyber attacks, hacking, credit card fraud originating from ex soviet countries, I’m always more cautious. I had purchased an antivirus product when I bought a laptop a couple of years ago, only to find it was produced in Romania. Ever since then I receive endless spam to that email address, which is one I set up just for them!!

Being thankful for what we have and do is often overlooked in our daily busy lives. Its important to see the beauty around us each day.
An old family saying is: “Now matter how bad you feel, there is always someone worse off than you”. After reading many of the posts here, I’m thankful for my good health and ‘the lot’ I have.
One of my favorite singers, in fact he was probably the top story writer in music…probably better than Dylan!
I hadn’t heard his music until 5 or 6 years after he was killed in a car crash, but it struck a chord with me, and the more I learned about him, the more I realized what a great man he was.
At an anniversary concert some years ago, Bruce Springsteen said: “Harry wanted to give as much as he could to ‘the other guy’ so he would play one night for him and the next night would be for charity”.
That person was Harry Chapin and if you haven’t heard of him, a search of You Tube will show plenty of songs and footage. His daughter is now signing and has a small band in New York.
We need more “Harry’s” and one of my goals for my web business is to have sites set up and earning income that can directly go to various causes. Whether it be a small community group or something greater, that all depends on the work they do and the effect it has. I am also a great fan of Kiva.org, where you can ‘loan’ an entrepreneur a small amount to help them with their business.

We even had two teenagers who had heard about out dinner on the radio that came about 50 miles to help out and deliver the dinners. I am thankful for all the helpers and for knowing I can now go have Thanksgiving Dinner with my family and they are all well and happy, what more could anyone want?
From sickness and the economy we are having a financial crisis, but I have faith that we will be ok soon.

I am a healthy, inquisitive, multilingual senior lady. I kind of suffer from info overload as I have been trying for about 5 years to make extra money on the internet and got scammed several times. Finally through friends, God bless them, I got introduced to a program, where, through participation with at least $50.00 you make 6% a week. No work involved. Principal stays in for 30 days,
but is not blocked, if you withdraw before, you get no interest paid. This is the program that improves my financial situation. As a senior I do not have the years to build up a portfolio with all the risks involved or work at an internet business which is time consuming. I am getting really frustrated. I have Blue Host as a Web host - and they have Cpanel.I really like SiteProfitBot and I want to be able to be successful with it. Your website is located in it’s own directory that was created when you set up the add on domain you need to set siteprofitbot to or any other FTP program to: /public_html/shouldigetpetinsurance Hope that works for you, any way u can still contact me if you need any more help [see my post] above. I have found your issue you need to delete the index.html 0 bytes file that was created when you created the add on. Your site is there OK just go to http://www.sharoncowles.com/shouldigetpetinsurance/index.php too see what your site looks like. With Bluehost the index.html file will overide the index.php once you have done this then http://shouldigetpetinsurance.com will work OK. The reason for the 0 bytes index.html file was to stop visitors from seeing the directory/s you may have on that site.
I would also suggest that you view the source of a few pages to check that your Adsense & Amazone etc id’s are correct I see google analytics is active as well so check that as well last bit of code before the {body close slash}

I am very thankful for all our troops fighting for our freedom in Afghanistan and Irac. My daughter -in -law is there now and my son has done two tours so far in Afghanistan. I am thankful for their safe return. I saw a quote on a lisense plate last week that said ” If you don’t stand behind our troops, stand in front of them”. I am thankful for my family and friends including my mother who died two months ago. I am grateful for the one -on- one time I had with her over the last three years as her caregiver. We became exremely close and I gained a new appreciation and respect for the lean war years (1939-1945) she and my father went through. I am thankful for every day on this earth.

I am so grateful that I have had the courage, persistence and determination to take on the challenge of becoming a very successful internet marketer.
I have in the past been to seminars, purchased programs and did nothing with them. Eventually I said Enough is Enough! Do the work, so I have been for 4 months now approximately 25 hours every week. I purchased an extremely expensive course including make your own websites, coaching etc and I have yet to make a cent. Poor technical support and bugs in the software has caused incredible frustration, loss of money earning time and increase in personal debt.
Still I remain positive that I can do this! Create financial freedom so I can get on with my life’s vision.

August was the most thrilling month of 2009, to me. I launched the ugly duckling of portals w/ entertainment (a never ending daily work) which means that I began to pay less attention to politics, economics and so forth, and start doing something for me and others in a positive way. The feeling is overwhelming!
I don’t know why you have “erased” your beard. Fine weather? If so, why are you a little cold?
You should find a good solution to avoid it, like I did four years ago. Now, my friends keep reminding me of those guys that were so bad detectives that couldn’t catch even a common cold!

I am an emigrant to this great country that I now call home. I have so much to be thankful for that I could write on and on for a long time.
Christmas use to be my favorite holiday but the older I get, the more I appreciate the thanksgiving holiday when we as a nation have the opportunity to get together with friends and family to give thanks to God for His goodness to us. What I am most thankful for this year is that my mother is still alive.
Almost one year ago exactly, she was told that she had three to six months to live if she didn’t start dialysis. She was also told, by the same uncaring doctor, that she was old and dialysis was probably a waste of time.
She took him at his word and didn’t opt for dialysis. Everyone sat back and waited for her to die.
Except me. I cared for her, advocated for her, and made sure she took her medication.
She’s still here.
The doctor said last week that she would have been dead by now if she had opted for the dialysis. He and all the other members of the medical “care” team are amazed that she’s still alive.
She’s my mother and I love her and there’s nothing I won’t do to help and care for her.
I am very very grateful that she is still alive.

Over the past few years, I have gained an amazing appreciation, not only for the blessings of my family, without which I wouldn’t be the person I am today, but, also for our honorable men and women in uniform. To many, this may sound a bit like a broken record, a reflection, perhaps, upon comments provided by many before me. However, I think I come to this heart felt appreciation from a somewhat unique perspective that I pray that many of you never have the opportunity to experience or realistically relate to. I am a Soldier, a Combat Medic, and an Army Nurse. In a time and place of war, I have had the honor to serve amongst some of the greatest individuals America has to offer. Some of these people I got the chance to experience after they rolled in upon a stretcher off the field of battle. Some I worked side by side with in an effort to give comfort and aid. I can’t begin to describe to you some of the things I witnessed. Yes, some of the scenes were horrific in their impact. As fellow human beings we all chose to deal with it in our own way. But, more often then not, we coped. We coped, not only because of the strength within ourselves as individuals, but, also because of the strength that we were able to cling to from those around us…each other. It is in this light, my realization, and love that I give thanks to those men and women who were, and still are, there for us all and who have volunteered of themselves and the support of their families to be the representatives and vanguard of America’s ideals and America’s defense. May they be blessed and recognized around the world as the guardians of freedom for all.
I am thankful that God has allowed my heart to grow stronger and my cancer to weaken, and that being Canadian I can celebrate two thanksgivings.
